Dr. Marc Moore joins the department of ophthalmology at Graves-Gilbert Clinic as a comprehensive ophthalmologist providing superior general eye care to both adults and children. Dr. Moore grew up in Morganfield, KY, graduated from Union County High School, attended Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN, and received his medical degree from the University of Louisville. After a year internship in internal medicine at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, he completed his three-year residency at the Vanderbilt Eye Institute. His interests are in diagnosis and medical management of refractive errors, cornea disorders, cataracts, glaucoma, minor cosmetic and therapeutic eyelid problems, diabetic eye disease, ocular trauma, and strabismus. Dr. Moore uses the latest, most advanced techniques in sutureless cataract surgery using phacoemulsification technology.
